Ahhhh....the linear accelerator! Only a select few get to ride. Well, maybe more than a few. But if you were one of the uhm, lucky ones to get some good old external beam radiation therapy, well, then this is all for you! We don't think of it as just another advanced technology medical device. No, to us, it's more like a gamma ray surfboard! Or maybe it's like that monster roller coaster. But unlike the roller coaster, you come back to ride the linear accelerator day after day after day. You certainly deserve a t-shirt for surviving that experience!
So how do you roll? We just had to do our own crazy version of the pop culture phrase "that's how I roll." Sure we designed this one with our cancer friends in mind, but since it's not really cancer specific, it works for anyone who likes to tow an IV pole around with them. And who wouldn't like the modern convenience of a wheeled pole to carry some juice bags. Just imagine how cool it'd be on the downhills!
Well, after cranking out some of the finest "cancer t-shirts" (if we do say so ourselves), we've decided to kick it up a notch (sometimes we get bored) and introduce our own line of personalized, portable, radiation therapy equipment. (we're so full of it) The first product is the Personal Radiation Therapy Emitter, aka the PRTE-2000. (it's not really a real radiation device) We understand (re: clueless) that not everyone can actually take time out for cancer these days (as if anyone has a choice), with so many things to do, places to go and people to see. (remember we get bored - invite us along) Why go spend thousands of dollars for radiation therapy when you can use this little gadget and zap and go! (dream on) I know you're loving this already, but it gets even better! (we're serious this time) How about an integrated digital video camera?! (for real) You can zap your cancer (that's a lie) while you record and send videos to your friends! (that part is true) It's powered by the Flip Mino (that's actually what it is, in a custom designed radiation gizmo wanna-be case - re: we really do get very bored sometimes) which is a slick little digital camcorder that shoot photos and records video, all of which can be uploaded by just plugging it in to a USB port. Check it out for yourself and read the real technical details about the Flip Mino.
Now, if you enjoyed all the silly fluff, then read on! (we were bored while writing this too!)
